







Design Goals
Badlands was part of a level design challenge to create a nightclub level that would belong in the Deus Ex universe, and to incorporate those mechanics into the design. I used Unreal Engine 4 for this level.
Design a level that fits mechanically in the Deus Ex universe, allowing for branching paths in the layout and multiple ways to complete objectives.
Implement multicolored lighting into my blockout to highlight key areas.
Maintain a believable nightclub scale.
Design within the constraints of a 3 day time limit.
